Hey everyone,
I used to think of biking as just a weekend hobby, but recently I’ve been using my bike more and more for daily errands and commuting—and I’m honestly loving it.
Here’s what I’ve noticed after a few weeks of riding more often around town:
1. It’s faster than I thought
Between stop-and-go traffic, parking, and walking from the garage... hopping on a bike often gets me there quicker, especially for 1-5 mile trips.
2. Morning rides clear your head
There’s something about pedaling through a quiet neighborhood in the morning that just puts you in a better mood for the day.
3. Good lights = confidence
I was hesitant to ride at dawn or dusk until I upgraded my lights. Been using a bright front light from Gaciron lately—makes a big difference in how visible I feel, and the battery life is great so I don’t have to think about charging it every day.
4. You notice more
I’ve discovered hidden little parks, murals, and cafes I’ve never seen before just by riding a different route through town.
